Job Description
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of a vision and strategy on behalf of the brand for an assigned Territory to execute strategic plans and lead sales targets. Provides leadership and influence to drive sales, customer counts, development, margin, and revenue growth. Provides direction and development to his/her operational direct reports to achieve operational excellence, acceptable returns on invested capital, achievement of superior business results and support the career development of direct and indirect reports. Unifies operations around a shared company and brand vision. Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with the brand while partnering with them to enhance and improve sales performance.
Effectively communicate value propositions and report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.,
1. Actively participates in the development of strategic objectives and business plans to advance the brand and drive Company growth and profitability of the territory. Develops and achieves current and long-range business plans which are aligned to and support the company's direction.
2. Builds market share, by achieving sales and customer count growth, both directly and through the effective management of the Area Managers, achieved through the attainment of operational excellence, brand protection, new and acquired locations and effective partnership with Merchandise/Product leadership, and the execution of marketing strategies.
3. Ensures focus on the Brand ethos by elevating the customer experience in all stores. This is achieved through the ongoing review, analysis, and utilization of customer data from all sources to develop actionable tactics that drive commitment and customer count growth
4. Leads efforts to assist GM in optimizing profitability through ongoing analysis and consultative support of cost controls. Ensures Area Managers are skilled in analysing P&L statements and can identify and problem-solve cost control opportunities. Leverages opportunities to share market cost performance and makes available cost control systems to assist them in improving profits 5. Provides direction and development to his/her operational direct reports to achieve operational excellence, acceptable returns on invested capital, and achievement of superior business results and supports the career development of direct and indirect reports. Develops and effectively utilizes corporate strategic partnerships (Finance, Merchandising, Human Resources), peers and support functions to achieve business goals.
Decision-Making Authority:
Develop strategic objectives and business plans to advance brand image and drive growth and profitability
Leads efforts to assist Operations Management in optimizing profitability through ongoing analysis and consultative support of cost controls
Evaluate and approve vendors' services and contracts
Responsible for AOP to include resource allocation and expenses
Coordination of strategic partners and support functions to achieve business goals.
Education: Bachelors Degree : Business, retail management or a related field
Preferred 2. 10+ years of increasingly responsible retail operations management experience including exposure (knowledge) of business planning, training and human resources.
