Job Description
The Inventory Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock availability, efficient inventory allocation, and seamless fulfillment operations across e-commerce channels. 
Reporting to the Head of ecommerce, this role will focus on balancing inventory between e-commerce warehouses, retail stores, and collect-in-store locations, while providing data-driven insights to enhance stock efficiency and fulfillment performance.
  • 1 direct report: Ecommerce Operation Merchandiser- Assists with reporting and stock tracking.
This role is critical in ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time, minimizing stockouts, reducing overstock, and improving fulfillment efficiency to support e-commerce growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Planning & Stock Allocation
Develop and maintain inventory planning strategies to ensure stock availability across e-commerce fulfillment centers.
Monitor stock allocation between e-commerce warehouses, retail stores, and collection locations, ensuring proper distribution based on demand.
Define and track stock thresholds for different fulfillment centers to prevent over- or under-stocking.
Collaborate with demand planners and replenishment teams to align stock levels with sales trends and customer demand.
2. Fulfillment & Order Flow
Oversee stock movement and replenishment to e-commerce warehouses, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Monitor order fulfillment rates, identifying delays or inefficiencies and working with operations teams to resolve them.
Ensure inventory allocation aligns with order patterns, promotional demand, and category priorities.
3. Inventory Performance Analysis & Reporting
Develop dashboards and reports to track inventory health, fulfillment rates, and sell-through performance.
Provide insights on fast-moving SKUs, slow-moving stock, and replenishment needs to optimize stock levels.
Regularly update leadership on stock availability, fulfillment performance, and potential risks impacting e-commerce operations.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the e-commerce lead for inventory planning, ensuring alignment with supply chain, demand planning, and fulfillment teams.
Partner with category managers to forecast demand, ensuring stock availability for high-demand products and promotions.
5. Risk Mitigation & Process Optimization
Identify and address risks related to stockouts, overstocking, and fulfillment inefficiencies.
Optimize inventory allocation strategies to support seasonal peaks, promotional surges, and high-demand products.
Support automation initiatives for real-time inventory tracking and reporting, reducing manual inefficiencies.
