Head of Supply Chain

**Job Title:** Head of Supply Chain  - Retail 
**Location:** Saudi Arabia (Eastern Province)

**Job Overview:**  
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our organization as the Head of Supply Chain. Based in Saudi Arabia, this role will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the company’s goals. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and leadership, with a proven track record of optimizing processes, managing large teams, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic market.

**Key Responsibilities:**  
1. **Strategic Leadership:** Develop and implement the supply chain strategy alongside the SCD in alignment with organizational objectives, ensuring scalability and adaptability to market demands in Saudi Arabia and the broader region.  
2. **End-to-End Supply Chain Management:** Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of goods and services.  
3. **Team Management:** Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.  
4. **Cost Optimization:** Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels, negotiating with suppliers and logistics partners to maximize value.  
5. **Compliance & Risk Management:** Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including Saudi customs laws, trade compliance, and safety standards, while mitigating supply chain risks.  
6. **Technology Integration:** Drive the adoption of advanced supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP systems, AI-driven forecasting tools) to enhance visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.  
7. **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Partner with internal departments (e.g., sales, finance, production) and external vendors to align supply chain activities with business needs.  
8. **Sustainability Focus:** Incorporate sustainable practices into supply chain operations, supporting Saudi Vision 2030 goals for economic diversification and environmental responsibility.  
9. **Performance Metrics:** Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate supply chain performance, delivering regular reports to senior leadership.  
10. **Market Insight:** Stay informed of regional and global supply chain trends, adapting strategies to address challenges such as geopolitical shifts or economic fluctuations.

**Qualifications & Experience:**  
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).  
- **Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management**, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.  
- Proven expertise in managing complex supply chains, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.  
- Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles.  
- Experience with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).  
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.  
- Knowledge of Saudi market dynamics, customs regulations, and trade compliance.  
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
