The goal is to integrate and optimize a diverse range of products and services through our online platforms, exceeding  customer expectations.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketplace to lead strategic initiative in expanding and refining our marketplace operations.
This role requires deep expertise in marketplace dynamics, with a proven track record in leveraging the Mirakl platform to enhance business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the strategic vision for our marketplace platform, aligning with company goals for growth, customer satisfaction, and market leadership.
    • Lead market research to identify opportunities for specialty niches within the marketplace.
  2. Mirakl Platform Management:
    • Oversee the implementation, customization, and optimization of the Mirakl platform to fit our business model.
    • Ensure seamless integration with existing eCommerce systems and third-party applications.
  3. Vendor and Seller Management:
    • Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with third-party sellers, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
    • Utilize Mirakl Connect for efficient seller onboarding, aiming to reduce onboarding time by significant margins.
  4. Operational Excellence:
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the marketplace, including order processing, dispute resolution, and customer service related to marketplace transactions.
    • Implement advanced tools for catalog management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to enhance seller performance and customer experience.
  5. Technology and Innovation:
    • Drive technological advancements in marketplace functionalities, integrating AI for product recommendations, catalog management, and operational automation.
    • Stay abreast of marketplace technology trends, ensuring our platform remains competitive and innovative.
  6. Performance Metrics:
    • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketplace operations, including GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), seller performance, and platform uptime.
    • Regularly report on the marketplace's health and growth to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in Retail / eCommerce, with at least 5 years directly managing or implementing marketplace platforms.
    • Proven experience with Mirakl platform, including setup, customization, and management.
    • Previous experience in building or running a specialty marketplace, understanding niche market dynamics.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, API integrations, and eCommerce infrastructure.
    • Experience with data analytics tools for marketplace performance tracking.
  • Leadership & Management:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent project management skills with a history of successful project delivery.
