The challenge is no longer simply opening stores internationally. It is building commercially aligned, operationally scalable businesses across multiple countries, cultures and consumer markets simultaneously.
I have been mandated on a highly confidential international executive search for a senior C level retail leader with deep experience across:
• Multi-country European retail operations
• Apparel and footwear
• Franchise and partner market expansion
• New country launch strategy
• Omni-channel retail leadership
• Large scale retail operations
• Commercial transformation and scalability
• Cross border leadership teams
The mandate requires a leader who understands how to balance brand, commerciality, operational execution and international growth at scale.
This is not a purely strategic headquarters position.
The successful individual will have operated close to the reality of market expansion, franchise partnerships, retail operations and organisational build out across complex international territories.
Experience across Europe is essential. Exposure to Middle East or Asia markets would be advantageous.
Please note, this search is not for CEO food retail experience and EU experience is a must.
However, I may also be commencing a separate fractional international retail advisory mandate during June, where broader multi-market commercial leadership exposure could be relevant.
