Seeking an exceptionally dynamic and volume experienced Product Head / Director
Achievement of Net sales for the category
Procure merchandise of the right product, right market and right quantity in time for the seasonal merchandise launches
Monitor the flow of incoming merchandise and replenishment of stocks against the business plan and the actual sales to ensure the store objectives are met.
Optimize the assortment in terms of size ratios, top and bottom ratios and colour combinations (mix and match offering) in order to expose the customer to the full selection of the assortment of garments in the store.
Highlight business opportunities by identifying the best selling styles and monitor size, curves, colour and fashion trends.
Identify peak trading periods by product category, in order to establish demand through store and customer contact.
Prepare the store sales plan by reviewing the SWOT analysis in order to provide input to the draft Sales Plan for each brand.
Understand, interpret and translate brand partner vision and direction, into annual and seasonal business plans for profit maximisation.
Prepare detailed buy plan based on the Business Plan and the seasonal cycle rolling forecast (18 months) in line with the Company and Brand Partner agreement.
Reforecast sales and stock position at regular intervals
Make the best implementation of MAP and SAP software to plan and action
Price the products to the optimum level taking into consideration market factors
Recommend the timing, lines to be included in sales and markdown percentages
Determine Markup and Markdown strategies necessary to ensure profits are achieved based on budget
University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience.
8 years experience in buying/merch for a multinational brand
Volume should exceed €400 million Euros
